Section 32

Canon XXXII. Concerning those who frequent theatrical plays. A bishop or an elder or a deacon who frequents the theatre or wanders arcund or becomes intoxicated, shall cease doing so; but if not, he shall be expelled. Sub-deacons and readers and psalm-singers, if they do this deed, shall cease ; but if not, they shall be expelled; and thus also the laymen. A bishop or an elder or a deacon who knows of one that frequents and does not cease, is in duty bound to prevent him ; but if not, he shall be deposed.
