The Wisdom of Solomon

Composed in Greek, most likely in Alexandria, late first century BCE or early first century CE. Argues that the righteous are immortal and that death entered through envy, personifies Wisdom in strongly philosophical language, mocks idolatry at length, and rereads the Exodus plagues as a demonstration that creation itself fights for the just.
